Life is getting back to normal
Hi All,
Its been a while since i last wrote so let me catch you up. Since Everett was born we have been dealing with projectile vomiting. The doctors weren't able to figure out the cause so we were in and out of John's Hopkins doing tests. They finally have come to the conclusion that he has an allergy to both the milk base and soy based formulas as well as having sever acid reflux. Since they switched him to a hypoallergenic formula and put him on meds he is finally keeping his milk down. Now the big concern is that he is still anaemic and isn't putting on weight as fast as they would like. So we have weekly weight checks with his doctor and we go back up to Hopkins every couple of weeks for check ups. All and all he is much happier and is finally getting into a good routine, like sleeping most of the night (Thank God)! As I know more so will you.
Until Then!

Everett Lukas Mayne!
The day I was sure would never come is finally here! After 41 weeks of waiting, 20 hours of Labor and 1 c-section later we now have a beautiful baby boy! Here are his stats 7lbs 3oz 19 3/4 inches long. Like all things in my life his birth and hospital stay didn't go as planned. Before I get into all the details let me say thank GOD my parents were here to help with Madi. There is no way we could have gotten through this with out them.
We had hoped for a normal delivery but yet again my child had a different plan, with a head that was just to big he refused to come out. So another c-section was called for. They then told me that I was running a fever and there for he would have to be checked out by the NICU. When he was born he too had a fever so after only a few minutes together he was taken to the NICU so receive a full check and antibiotics. We were told at that point that he would have to stay a full 7 days for the medicine. As upset as we were to find out we would have to leave with out him they told me that he was very healthy and we had nothing to worry about, its protocol. On day 3 of my stay the doctors got worried because my blood pressure was very high. They decided that I needed to stay a couple more days until they could get it under control. After two days of playing around with my medicine they finally decided that they had the right combination of meds and I should be fine, only to discover that I now have pneumonia. Nothing to worry about they will just add a new drug to the rest. Finally! I get the all clear to head home and great news its the same day as Everett! My family can finally be all together and at home! Through this entire mess Jesse was my knight in shinning armor, my anchor and the shoulder I needed to cry on (and boy did I need it). I can honestly say that after our experience that I am very blessed to have such a wonderful man that loves me enough to crack a few skulls and hug my hurt away all at the same time.

Expiration Date
In case anyone has been keeping track, I'm officially past my due date. That's right folks my little man has decided that he likes it where he's at and doesn't seem in any hurry to leave. So the waiting game has begun (again). Unless something happens soon he is getting evicted on Tuesday January 12th. keep your fingers crossed that he decides to come on his own.
Until next time!

Baby Please!
OK so we are now into week 38 and my doctors don't have great news for me. I went to my weekly apt hoping for some progress only to be told that it would be a miracle if I have my little man by the 31st. Needless to say I'm disappointed and frustrated. But hey miracles happen right? Keep all your fingers crossed! I'll keep you up dated.
