Baby Please!

OK so we are now into week 38 and my doctors don't have great news for me. I went to my weekly apt hoping for some progress only to be told that it would be a miracle if I have my little man by the 31st. Needless to say I'm disappointed and frustrated. But hey miracles happen right? Keep all your fingers crossed! I'll keep you up dated.

30 weeks and counting

My Mexican Superhero has come to save the day!

Ops!

Hi All!

Ok, so I just had a reminder that Doctors are human to. Jesse and I have been talking about how big my belly is this time around. I'm bigger then I was at the end of my pregnancy with Madi. So I went to the doctor yesterday for my monthly visit and she and I were talking about my due date. I asked her if she was sure that the date was correct, not only do I have my own orbit but the two ultra sounds had different dates on them. After some debate and some double checking on her part she discovered that in fact I'm two weeks further along then first thought. That's right I have officially lost two weeks of prep time till this baby gets here! The nice thing is that it I lost two weeks of waiting time to see my sweet little boy. Please pray for us as we now have only 10 weeks to pick a name, get the babies room ready, get our room ready and find a car that can fit all of us. We have a lot to do, not much time and we are procrastinators to boot!

Till next time.

Car issues

Hi All,

I know its been a while since I last posted so let me catch you up to date. I am currently 27 weeks along and have now created my own gravitational pull. Everything is going good with our little man even if he's still nameless. Madi now is insisting on being call Madison at all times. She loves her princess dance class to the point that Daddy must do all the moves with her at night. There is nothing as cute as a 3 yr old teaching her Daddy how to do ballet moves. And the most consistent and depressing thing in our lives is that the neon is broken down yet again! Turns out that this time its not that big of a deal, its only my breaks, who needs those anyway? Lucky for us Jesse's younger brother is very good at working on cars and he can fix it in a day or two. God Bless family!

Well that's a quick update into our lives. I'll post pics of the family and of course my belly soon.

Till next time!

Dancing Queen

This week started the adventure of our first dance class. Many of you know that since Madi was born I sing her Dancing Queen and she loves it, well on Tuesday she proved that dancing really is her thing. we enrolled her into a princess ballerina dance class, each class the kids get to dress up as a different princess. Its a 45 min class where 8 little girls get to learn dance moves and get to be the bell of the ball. How could she not love it right?

Ever since her class she has been playing dance class with all her toys. She of course is the teacher and she shows them all the moves that they need to do. I have been asked about 10 times a day since then when she gets to go back. I'll post a picture of her in the class as soon as I'm allowed to take one. They don't let the parents Stay and watch :(

Until next time!

The Crazy Life

Ok, so September looks to begin a very crazy period in my life. This is of course by choice and partly goes back to my post before this one. I have made the decision that in order for my house to remain peaceful and remotely clean we needed to find some out side activities. So as of Friday we begin our new schedule! Every other Friday we have Mops, every Wednesday we have bible study, and every Tuesday we have dance class. That means 3 days a week we are out of the house doing something fun for at least 1 hour. I don't know who I'm more happy for Madi or me as we both get the enjoy some good quality play time with friends.

On another note peanut is by far a different child than madi. Madi was very mellow in the womb where as peanut is always active. At not even 22 weeks i can already feel where he is hanging out and see him move. Now is this a difference between a boy and girl or is it a difference between 1 & 2 or are they going to be very very different kids? One can only guess but i can say that i am enjoying the differences and can't wait to see who this little man will be.

Until next time!

War Zone

OK, so it's official my house is now a war zone. With daily attacks of 3yr old logic and destruction. I find my self loosing it more and more often, if that's due to an increase in belly size, lack of sleep or just shell shock from the constant attacks, i just can't say. What i can say is that i see my self from a distance over reacting to things that happen and i can't stop it. Now don't get worried I'm not beating her or locking her in closets, but there is a lot of corner time, loosing of special toys and anger on my part. I'm ashamed to say that, but hey i told you from the beginning that this would be a window into my world. So like some many other days today my prayer goes out to God for the patience to make it till daddy gets home and can take some of the stress off my shoulders.

If your so inclined to pray with/for me, please pray that i find the grace to handle these everyday struggles in a more productive way. In fact please pray NOW as a new attack just commenced!

Doll babies or G.I. Joe?

So today was the big day, will we be buying more doll babies or are we in store for g.i. joes? Well...the verdict is.......the great American hero! G. I. Joe is there! That's right we are having a little boy. I'm very surprised, it just never crossed my mind that I would be trading in frilly dresses for jeans with holes in the knees. I'm looking forward to the new experiences that raising a little boy will bring. In the mean time the big debate is on... what to name this little man.

One of those days

Ever have one of those days? Today was mine, Madi and I went out to a doctors apt and then we had planned to look for birthday presents for her and her cousin, that was the plan. In reality we ended up having to run all over town looking for the best priced battery for my car. After my doc apt my car almost didn't start so i went to the closest place around which happened to be Sears. The guys there tell me that it would cost over 100.00 to buy and install a new battery. Now momma didn't raise no fool, so i told him he could keep it and went to the next stop. After two more stops which got more and more expensive i finally gave up and drove 20mins to Advance Auto Parts where they not only installed my battery for free but also had the lowest price of the day. Oh and did i mention that it was over 90 degrees today and i don't have AC? Yeah, so like i said it was one of those days....

Oh well alls well that ends well

Picture Drama

Today I took Madi in to get her 3rd b-day pics done. I was really worried that she may be shy since its been almost a year since the last ones were done. I should have know better, not only wasn't she shy but was completely hamming it up. So here's where the drama comes in. She had so many cute pics to choose from that it took me over 20 Min's to decide which ones to buy! Now if you have kids you'll understand that if you get good pics its always hard to make the decision but add to that pregnancy brain (which makes you unable to decide on anything) to the mix and you can see my dilemma. In the end I ended up buying 10 sheets of pictures and still feel like I could have gotten more!!

For all the stay at homes out there

OK so Madi and I went to Wendy's today for lunch when a couple of guys that work there sat at the table next to us. I didn't pay much attention to them at first, you know with the chicken nugget drama that happens ever time you go (there hot mommy blow them!), when one of the guys starts talking to Madi. Now if you know my kid you know that she has never once been shy but today she just didn't know what to make of this guy, so there for ignored him all together. He then went on to talk to his friend about how he himself had a little boy at home, and that he wished he could stay home like his girlfriend does instead of working. He was saying how much fun it would be to sit all day and watch cartoons or to spend the entire day playing. Now I just couldn't help my self and started to laugh. he looked at me funny and I told him I was sorry for listening in but that there was far more to being at stay at home then hanging out all day. He was totally perplexed by that and wanted to know what else there could possible be to do all day... I later found out that he is still a pup of only 19. So this is for all of us that couldn't possible have more to do with our days than watch cartoons with our kids!

Enjoy, I know I did!
